Princess Protection Program stars real life bffs Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. This is probably the primary reason why people are willing to watch this Disney movie. It’s about a princess who must relocate to a small town in Wisconsin where she must blend in and be like an average teenager. She must also learn to live with Carter, her protector’s daughter.

The plot of Princess Protection Program is too predictable. The audience is like a bunch of fortune tellers that can tell what will happen next. There are no surprises in this one. But that doesn’t mean that the movie is boring. In contrast, you won’t know how much time has passed by.

The story of Cinderella has been told a million times. In this latest version, the wicked step mother is a pop star, Prince Charming is a teen heartthrob and the glass slipper is a Zune. Talk about modernizing a fairytale.
There’s nothing new about this retelling except that it’s the Cinderella for the Step Up generation. It’s cheesy as it can get. Someone I know someone who saw this and Hillary Duff’s version said that he liked Selena’s version more. What’s there to hate about Selena. She’s cute and adorable. Hope she doesn’t grow up into another Lohan or Spears.
My generation doesn’t need Another Cinderella Story but this generation does. It was a fun movie to waste my time on.
Mary (Selena Gomez): You don’t have to pretend that you like me. I had enough charity to last a lifetime.
Don’t worry Selena. Your performance was great that I like you a lot already. Not in a dirty old man sorta way…
