So what if Avatar is the live action version of Pocahontas? It doesn’t change the fact that it’s the best movie that came out in 2009. I watched Avatar in IMAX 3D and it’s by far the best movie experience I ever had, ever! James Cameron outdid himself with this one.

Avatar immerses its audience into Pandora, a planet that reminds me of World of Warcraft’s Zangarmarsh and Nagrand. The visuals are on the league of their own. Everything seems believable, down to the tiniest detail. The fauna and flora of the planet and the blue Na’vis were true-to-life that you’ll forget that you’re watching a fake planet.

Maybe it’s a good thing that I’m not a fan of the Terminator series because Terminator Salvation didn’t live up to the expectations of loyal fans.  They say it was a mediocre attempt with its lackluster character development and a weak plot.  Well for me, the movie did a good job in presenting what had happen in the future, before John Connor (Christian Bale) met his future father Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin) and send him back to the past to meet his mom.

Batman did well playing John Connor but Marcus (Sam Worthington) is the star in Terminator Salvation.  He’s the cyborg who thinks he’s still 100 percent human.  The first part of the movie explained how he became a robot.  At first glance I thought he was WWE’s Randy Orton and was waiting for him to do an RKO.
