Quentin Tarantino gives us an alternative ending to World War II via Inglourious Basterds. It has everything you’re looking for in a Tarantino film – violent, bloody, and funny. It had my full attention right from the opening sequence where Colonel Hans “Jew Hunter” Landa (Christoph Waltz) was interrogating the dairy farmer (Denis Menochet).

Lt. Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) is the leader of the Basterds, which is a group of American soldiers whose goal is to kill Nazis within the occupied territory. Then there’s Shosanna (Melanie Laurent), a Jewish cinema owner who has witnessed her family being massacred by Landa’s group.
