Extreme Movie is not even a movie. It is a collection of skits about sex. As expected it featured juvenile sex jokes. It stars Michael Cera, Ryan Pinkston, Jamie Kennedy, Matthew Lillard, Frankie Muniz, Beverley Mitchell, among others.

Extreme Movie has no plot. It’s just a bunch of raunchy sketches put together so that it would be long enough to pass as a movie. What’s worst is that none of the skits were funny. Matthew Lillard tried too hard to be funny as he delivers monologues in between scenes. His jokes, just like the rest found in this movie, are humorless.
From one rambling skit to another, Extreme Movie failed to amuse me. One thing that got my attention was when Beverley Mitchell first came on screen. Her image from 7th Heaven is totally different from the one in this movie. I think she wants to follow in the footsteps of her TV big sister Jessica Biel.

Anyway, aside from the grown up Lucy Camden, nothing else in Extreme Movie grabbed my attention. Even Michael Cera looked like he didn’t enjoy doing this movie. I don’t know how he got blackmailed into it in the first place.
The jokes were not funny, plot was non-existent, and overall Extreme Movie was boring. It is a perfect opposite of a comedy movie should be. I wonder how I managed to endure the torture and finished the movie.
