I had high hopes for Baby on Board because it stars Heather Graham and Jerry O’Connell. It is about a couple, Angela and Curtis (Graham and O’Connell), doing well in their respective careers but everything’s awry when she finds out she’s pregnant.
Baby on Board tried to make a mature issue as having a baby into something funny with juvenile jokes and it didn’t work at all. I feel bad for Graham and O’Connell, as well as the supporting cast which includes John Corbett and Lara Flynn Boyle.
I do understand why Angela suspects Curtis was cheating on her but I don’t get why Curtis doubts that he’s not the father of Angela’s baby. Baby on Board didn’t show anything that would make me come up with that conclusion.
I’m sorry to say but Heather Graham’s presence can’t save Baby on Board. It was poorly written and you just can’t connect with the characters. Joe’s Apartment was much, much better.
