Punisher War Zone Better Than First Ones
Posted by rebzombie in Spoilt Reel, tags: Action, Dominic West, Julie Benz, Punisher War Zone, Ray StevensonBeing a fan of the Punisher comics, I was disappointed with the Thomas Jane movie. I wasn’t expecting much from Punisher: War Zone but after watching it, I was amazed. It has all the right elements that every Punisher fan is looking for from a Punisher movie.

First off, getting Ray Stevenson to play as Frank Castle/Punisher was a good move. He’s perfect for the part. He’s much better than the sissy Thomas Jane. Some say that Dominic West’s acting is over the top but that’s how Jigsaw should be.
One thing I loved about the Punisher is that it is bloody violent. War Zone matches the violence level of a typical Punisher comic book. Action movie fans would surely enjoy each fight scene. Guns are blazing and blood free flowing. There’s a reason why it was rated R.
Angela Donatelli (Julie Benz): Wait, wait! My husband, Nicky. We talked about you. Argued about you. He said you were one of the good guys.
The movie is action-packed until the end. Jigsaw had Microchip in one side and his brother has his gun set on Angela and her daughter at the other side. He then asked Punisher to choose between them. With only one bullet in his gun, Punisher shot Loony Bin Jim in the head but Jigsaw killed Microchip before Punisher can get to him. Punisher War Zone is recommended for fans of the Punisher as well as those who enjoy violent action movies in general.
