Never Go Impulse Watching Again
Now where do I begin with this one? Impulse’s plot is too ridiculous to begin with. It’s about a woman played by Willa Ford who made love with a man thinking he was her husband then finds out the next morning that he’s not. She then tells him that it was an honest mistake and that she doesn’t want to have anything to do with him anymore. The man then turns into a stalker and things literally got out of hand.
How can a wife who’s happily married not know that she’s doing it with the wrong guy? They might look alike but there are things that stick out. Then there are holes in the plot that are too big to be covered. But then again, the story is not the selling point of Impulse.
If you want to watch an erotic thriller and wonder how Willa Ford looks like in the buff then rent Impulse. Save for having a male doppelganger as the stalker, this movie is much like Fatal Attraction. There’s even a stair scene. I can’t count the number of times I’ve used the fast forward button for this one. If you’re not fan of the genre, skip this one.
