Everyone in Night Train turned into greedy monsters during Christmas Eve. That’s the premise of the movie. A mysterious box corrupted the soul of Chloe (Leelee Sobieski) the med student, Peter (Steve Zahn) the drunken salesman, Miles (Danny Glover) the train conductor, and everyone else in it.

Dies. The first death in the Night Train came when a man with the box dies due to an overdose. This event triggered something beyond their wildest imagination. Chloe, Peter and Miles stumbled upon something that shows them riches beyond comprehension and the uneventful train ride became their worst nightmare.
Before finding the Pandora’s box, the Night Train was calm and quiet. Leelee Sobieski as Chloe was interesting in the beginning but her character was full of psycho clichés in the end. I felt the director and writer of the movie run out of ideas and just tried to wrap things up. I love the fact that Danny Glover was in this movie. Being a fan of the Lethal Weapon series, it’s good to see him in a good role again.
Sunrise came and so is the end of Night Train. It had a promising start and a good twist in the middle. But the ending was sloppy and there was no explanation as to what the box is all about. But it was still an enjoyable movie.
