Never watched the series and never gonna watch the movie either. I never find Sex and the City interesting at the first place. Nuff said!

Yeah, I’m a girl and I completely agree. I watch the show occasionally, although I don’t know why, because it really gets on my nerves. (Carrie is kind of a ho and uses way too many puns.) So I guess I got bored one day and watched the movie. (Thankfully I watched a bootleg version from the internet, so I didn’t pay money for it) I can’t believe I watched the whole thing all the way through. It was not funny or even entertaining. Nothing but 4 women bitching and moaning about their miserable lives. Also, I thought it was stupid that the audience is expected to root for Big and Carrie to get back together, because I saw him as a douchebag.
I heard they’re thinking about making a sequel. Suffice to say I won’t be seeing that one!

I have never watched the show and I can’t imagine wanting to watch the movie. But I am sure there were people out there who felt the same about Firefly and Serenity

I'm with you. I am not remotely the right demographic for this movie (or the series). However, I saw a few minutes of the series anyway, and while it had it's funny times, the characters generally grated on me. I have little to no interest in seeing the movie. Well, from *this* chics perspective, I agree 100%! Of course, I don't have the foggiest idea of what that kind of life is like since I became a mom at 21 and am now married and have another child. Seems to me they are their own worst enemies and get into their own way of happiness from the few episodes of it I caught. I never understood what the hell all my girlfriends saw in that show.
