This is the story of Miggy and Laida and how they found that very special love. From the title itself, you’ll draw the conclusion that it’s a romantic comedy. And I could say that this is the date flick of the year. I wished I had a date for it though. That’s why I didn’t bother watching it on the big screen and waited for the DVD to be released.
A Very Special Love is something that will hit us when we least expect it. It’s a love that’s unconditional. You won’t get tired loving that special someone. The lyrics of the song where the movie title came from pretty much say it all.
I found a very special love in you
And it almost breaks me in two
Squeezing me tighter
But I’m never gonna let go…

In the end, Miggy gets a job with the family corporation yet he managed to keep the publishing house open. Miggy and Laida get to share a very special love.
