If a victim of a heinous crime is out for some payback, would you stop her? This is the premise of a dark movie The Killing Gene. A rookie cop found herself in this scenario and it didn’t help that the rest of her colleagues don’t want to give out anything regarding the reason why the case against the accused got dismissed.
The Killing Gene or W Delta Z (WAZ) is set on a not so perfect world that is so familiar to all of us. This is a place where people kill each other for no apparent reason and cops can’t or won’t do anything about it but just let the criminals take care of each other.
I love the twist in the end. I would recommend this movie although you must bear with the slow pace at the beginning. If you like psycho-thrillers then this one’s for you. I was surprised that a supposed gore movie turned out to have a very good plot.
